For 2017-18 school year, the team fee for this year is $405 due by December 1, 2017. This covers local travel, NSDA and TFA membership, and resources for the class. It can cost anywhere from $50 to $100 per competitor, and for national competitions that amount jumps to anywhere from $80 to $200 per student. In order to cover these fees, Coach A has set a yearly activity fee. These fees will cover your student’s events at every local tournament for the entire competitive season. These fees also offset the costs for consultant coaches in each discipline. But up to $200 can be waived if you volunteer to help at the high school and middle school tournament. Activity Fees are paid directly to Coach Augillard.
In addition to the activity fee, your student will need to pay travel fees for tournaments outside of the Houston area. When the team competes in state or national tournaments, there are additional hotel and transportation costs. These will vary depending on the tournament. Travel tournaments are not mandatory.
