It is time for the speech and debate team to host the Cy-Woods Wildcat Invitational Tournament. As always, we need your help! Our tournament could not exist without the help of individuals willing to judge these talented students. We will conduct a training session (TBD) , offer online tutorials at cywoodsdebate.com, and we will have students available to train judges during the tournament!
In order to begin each round, enough judges must be available in the judge’s room. If we have too many, some of these individuals may not actually judge a round. What is important for us is that they are present at the beginning of the round in case we need them. We want to stress that you will be placed on standby or on a panel of three or more judges and not sent away.
In an effort to save time and trees, the Booster Club is using SignUpGenius to coordinate judges for the Wildcat Classic this year. You can choose whether or not you would like to create an account to sign up, but it is NOT NECESSARY. An account will enable you to receive reminder emails and post events on your online calendar. Please check in at the Judge’s Room (Cy-Woods Library) at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to judge.
Remember: EVERY Wildcat Forensics team member is REQUIRED to provide at least TWO JUDGES for each day of the tournament.
